Data Privacy, Security and Deletion

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This page explains how Hollee protects customer and user data, how data from connected services such as Meta/Facebook is used, and how a user can ask for their account and data to be deleted. It is intended to support our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, including Meta app review requirements for a public data deletion instructions URL.

What data Hollee may process

Depending on how you use Hollee, we may process account details, login details, profile information, workspace and project content, generated outputs, uploaded files, support messages, usage records, integration settings, billing records, and technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.

If you sign in with Facebook or connect a Meta account, Hollee only uses the Meta permissions granted by you or your organisation for the relevant feature. This may include basic account identity for sign-in, Facebook Page or Instagram account information available to the connected account, and posting or publishing permissions where those features are enabled. Hollee does not ask for Meta data that is not needed for the feature being configured.

How Hollee uses connected Meta data

Meta/Facebook data is used to authenticate your account, connect approved business or social accounts, show selectable pages or assets, and perform actions that you or an authorised administrator request inside Hollee. For example, an authorised connection may allow a user to select an approved Facebook Page or Instagram account and prepare or publish approved content through an integration.

Hollee does not sell user data. We do not use connected Meta data to build unrelated advertising profiles. Access is limited to the service features, support, security, compliance, and troubleshooting purposes described in our policies.

Security controls

Hollee uses account authentication, role-based access controls, organisation and workspace permissions, two-factor authentication options, secure HTTPS connections, session controls, and operational logging to protect user accounts and data. We limit access to customer data to authorised users, administrators, service providers, and staff who need it to operate, support, secure, or improve the service.

Some features use trusted third-party service providers, such as hosting, email, payment, analytics, AI model, file storage, and integration providers. Where these providers process data for Hollee, we use them to deliver requested functionality and expect them to protect the data they handle under their own security and privacy commitments.

How to delete your Hollee account and data

  1. Sign in to Hollee.
  2. Open Dashboard, then My Account.
  3. Open Delete Account from the profile sidebar.
  4. Tick the confirmation checkbox.
  5. Select Yes, Delete My Account.

In the current application, this action deletes the authenticated user account, logs the user out, invalidates the session, and removes database records that are configured to be deleted with the user account. This may include account-level generated results and other data directly tied to the deleted user.

Some information may remain where it is necessary for legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, tax, backup, audit, dispute handling, or legitimate business reasons. Content that belongs to an organisation, workspace, project, shared area, or another user may also remain where Hollee needs to preserve the shared record or where the data is no longer attached to the deleted account.

How to disconnect integrations

If you want to remove a connected service without deleting your Hollee account, sign in and open My Account, then Integrations. From there you can manage or remove supported personal integrations. Organisation-level integrations may need to be removed by an organisation administrator.

You can also remove Hollee from your Facebook account by visiting Facebook or Meta account settings for Apps and Websites, removing the app, and requesting that app data be deleted. If Meta sends Hollee a data deletion request or you contact us directly, we will process the request using the account or user identifiers available to us.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, or if you want to request deletion of data connected to Facebook, Meta, Instagram, or another integration, email us using the contact address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address used for your Hollee account and, where relevant, the connected provider name and account/page details you want us to locate.

Contact: louis@hollee.ai

We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request. Once verified, we will delete or de-identify data we are not required to keep and will confirm the outcome or explain any information that must be retained.

Backups and retention

Deleted data may continue to exist for a limited period in encrypted or access-controlled backups, logs, caches, or disaster recovery systems until those systems rotate or expire. We do not restore deleted user data to active systems except where needed for security, legal, backup integrity, or service recovery reasons.
